Heritage Access specializes in stimulating interest in and increasing knowledge of Afrocentric culture and art through independent and group travel to lesser-known tourist destinations in Africa. The uniqueness of Heritage Access's service is based on its focus on Afrocentric themes in all our destination countries. This is achieved through packaged tours designed along the themes of Culture/Heritage, Education, Ecological, Business and Leisure tours. In developing these packages, emphasis is placed on traditional culture through the discovery of each country's unique artistic, musical, architectural, fashion and culinary heritage. Tour participants learn about these indigenous cultures by observing and interacting with local citizenry made up of families, cultural figures, educators, traditional chiefs, business leaders, artist and musicians, politicians, and development experts. Customized Tours In addition to the Standardized Tours and Special Event Tours we offer for specific festivals and theme packages, we give you an opportunity to create your own customized tours. With the assistance of our Destination Planners, customized tours can be created to include multiple destination countries and a combination of our diverse themes. Tour packages can be created for a variety of themes including religion, culinary, architecture, music and art.
